DJ Toonz blasted traditional Mexican music infused with a mix of hip-hop that had customers shuffling their feet while taking advantage of our buy-one-get-one-half-off deal. Our buddy from neighboring Boost Mobile shop showed his best moves, doing handstands, keeping the crowd entertained. Throughout the day, customers dashed away with free tacos from El Campo for shopping with us.

Freebies like Puma Water Bottles, Converse Drawstring Backpacks, adidas totes, and more were also given away for shoppers to enjoy. Recent winner of our $200 gift card giveaway on Facebook came out for her shopping spree. Luck rubbed off on a member of her animated entourage, one of four randomly selected to receive a $25 gift card.

Only two years in, SG has accrued a host of accolades including creating the official backpack for National Indoors 2012 with New Balance. DBD is keeping the momentum up with a joint venture coming in June 2012 with designers Coco & Breezy, who’ve been working with adidas Originals.

Such recognition is derived from SG’s nack for following trends while shaking it up with edgy designs.
