The Basquiat x Reebok Ventilator resurrects this classic runner in a couple of high contrast colorways that, the Neo-expressionist prodigy’s markings aside, remind us of this silo’s strong mid-’00s run that included what could be seen as one of the earliest Miami-inspired pastel looks from a trend that crested with the LeBron 8 ‘South Beach’. It’s not art deco at work here, but something just as distinctive, and both colorways are available now at RBK retailers like Millennium Shoes. [...]
